Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: Karnataka proposes community sanitary complexes

Karnataka has introduced an innovative community sanitary complex model during the meeting on the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in New Delhi recently. Each community sanitary complex will consist of seven toilets, four bathrooms, washing platforms, an attender room, a washing machine, and independent water and power supply costing to $31400 each for which Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has asked the central government to provide enough funds in this regard.
